It Aint What You Do, It’s How You Do It!
Now basically, we all havean idea ofhow to shed weight, don’t we?
So why do we find it so hard? Every singlediet plan on the market, in spite of howfantastic it is will not work without one important ingredient, Will Power!
Unfortunatelythat is not something we couldbuy from the store, that I am afraid to say, is one thingthat wemustgive ourselves, and without one, just about everydiet plan that you trydefinitely will fail.
There are a few good diets around and one dietthat fitsone individualwill notpurelyfit another. So youmay find that you and your closest friend are planning tostart adiet plan together, your friend may be going great guns and burning off pound after pound, yet you, are not. It’s depressing; yet it’s an undeniable fact of life that we are all made updiversely.
Personally I don’t advise diets as such. After you limit your calories, your system would assume that there is a food shortage and it will go into starvation mode. Once in hunger mode,as mentioned in Fit Yummy Mummy Review, it'll decelerate your fat burning capacity to conserve calories.
The thing isyour bodyhappen to beprogrammed from way back that whenever there is no abundance of food, we had to hunt our food so our food itemswere notregular. The metabolismadjuststhe use of our calories making sure that in periods of food scarcity; we would not waste away and starve.
Now in this day and age, there is always food at hand; howeverour body isunaware of this. When youskip a meal your bodywill go on starvation alert and slow that metabolic rateall the way down, which suggeststhe next time you eat, the bodyis going to hang on to those calories and store as much of them as it can as fat.
So, what’s the remedy? There's been tons of study and in my point of view the way ahead is this: To keep yourmetabolic process ticking over at a consistentpace, you have to eat regular meals, regular small meals each and every 2.5 - 3 hours, try and include protein in these foods (meat, preferably lean meat i.e. chicken, turkey, tuna) because protein doesn’t shoot your blood sugar right up and plummet it back down as sugary foods would. Keep your daily calories to a guideline level, (have a look at your most suitable consumption online somewhere).
The second part is something that you're notparticularly going to like, however, it’s the only wayahead, you need toExercise!!
You will needcardiovascular exercise 3-4 times a week for aroundfortymins at a time, and very important, you should doweight lifting, as the more muscle tissue you have, the more fat you burn. Ladies don’t freak out, that does not mean that you have to look like Arnie, butyou need muscle tone, not to mention the more you have, the more fatsyou will burn, even whileyou fall asleep!
Good Luck!
